This is a presentation during a book tour. The speaker is Theresa Corrigan, the author of the first volume of the anthology “With a Fly’s Eye, Whale’s Wit and Woman’s Heart”, co-edited by Stephanie Hoppe. In the first part she discusses PAWS (Performing Animal Welfare Society), a shelter program for animals in the entertainment industry, and reads some excerpts from the book including a poem she wrote called Sweet William, a story by an old women of her relationships with dogs, and a piece by Anne Cameron called Cinderella Doberman. In the second part, she talks about the banning of pit bulls and how men are dangerous animals, and about animal products and animals in captivity.
